App review and link of the week
Hi everyone. I see my blog has racked up quite a few views so i guess i should post more often. As long as you keep coming, I will keep posting. Maybe even more often than once a week. Well, I have a new app if any of you guys have a mac. Two, actually.
1. Psychonauts- Price: $5.99 - This game follows a young boy with psychic powers as he has an adventure at a camp designed to turn kids with psychic powers into "Psychonauts". I was really impressed with this game. The graphics are great and the story is wonderful. I would recommend that you buy this app if you have the money.
2. Ryzom- Another 5$ app, but if you love MMORPG's, you should get it. its a great game. Even if you dont typically buy that type of game, try it. you may be surprised.

Helooo
I know I said I would write every saturday, but the truth is, I just haven't had the time! People ask me, "Ashley, what would happen if you stopped blogging?" Well, the answer is simple. All time would stop. Doors that were easy to open would be locked forever, and nobody would be safe to think what they wanted. Then you ask, "really?" and I tell you, no! Of course not! I don't have that power! (yet). Aaaanyyyywaaay, you really need to stop getting so plight when I don't blog. Remember, I will aim for every Saturday, but I will blog when I want. Goodnight everybody!

Opening day!!!!
Welcome to MeowPad. I will post a new post every saturday unless something happens. Be warned; I go to camp for three weeks each august. There will be no posts then but a long one once I come back.I WILL POST WHATEVER I WANT HERE. I will take suggestions and I may use them but dont be upset if I don't. Since this is probably the most boring post, I have included a story I wrote below vvvvvvvvvv
The Origin Of NinjaKat
Chapter 1
At first I walked into the shelter looking for a cat, not wanting to BECOME a cat. Well, that's what this story is all about. The shelter was dingy and dusty but overall the cats seemed to be happy. I walked into one room with only female cats and gasped. They were so beautiful. Most were being picked out based on cuteness or playfulness. But what made me the most curious was the incessant meowing that no one else seemed to hear and it wasn't coming from anywhere I could see. Then I noticed it. The small metal box with no openings the workers said was there so until they got another cage, the cats wouldn't go behind the cages when they were let out. That was where the meowing was from. "there's a cat in there" I thought. "hey" I said a bit louder. "there's a cat in the metal box!". "hey mister" I yelled to the closest worker. " there's a cat in there!". "so?" the man replied. "so? SO? Is that all you have to say? Theres a cat in there! That's animal cruelty!" "yea she's been there for a couple days." he said.
Chapter 2
"Let her out!" I yelled. "I can't" "why?" "it's locked and there's no key" he said. "no key???!!!" that's impossible! we have to get her out!!!" "now you listen here" the man said. "if you keep yelling I'm going to have to take you to another room." " I don't care!" I yelled. So with one swift move, the man grabbed my hand and took me down a long flight of stairs and into a dark room. "hey. Where am I?" I asked. The man didn't answer but instead knocked me out with a frying pan to the head. While I was asleep he gave me a mysterious substance... When I awoke I still appeared to be in a dark room with a hard floor. But this time there were no doors. I looked around and suddenly felt itchy all over. I tried to scratch but she didn't appear to have nails. "that's weird" I thought. My mind also seemed to be flooded with thoughts of curling up on a couch for a nap. "that's strange" I thought again. Then I became aware of where I was. I was in a BIG METAL BOX.
Chapter 3
I could hear sounds from outside. "help" I tried to yell. But all that came out was "MEOW"
"I must be crazy" I thought." I don't meow." but I must have said it out loud or something because a voice next to me said " that's what I thought too". Out of the shadows came a skinny tabby cat. "hi" the tabby said. "I'm Phoenix". "you- you can talk!" I stuttered. (it was then that I realized I could speak again.)
"you can too" Phoenix responded. "but only to other cats". "what do you mean OTHER cats?" I asked. " I'm not a cat." overcome with emotion I asked "am I?" Phoenix pushed a mirror toward me. "look" she said. I looked at the mirror. And staring back at me was a black and white American shorthair. "I am a cat." I said in dismay. " hey at least your a good looking cat" Phoenix pointed out. "yeah I guess that's something. But how are we ever going to get out of here?" I asked. "ok" Phoenix said "here's the plan"
Chapter 4
"wait" I said. "what is it now?" Phoenix replied frustrated. " how are we going to get out of here if we're just cats.?" "that's the thing." Phoenix replied. "you are not 'just a cat'. You are something Special. Think about your parents and how much they love you." "ok" I replied. I thought. And I thought. And I thought. And nothing happened. "let's try something else" Phoenix said. "try thinking about things you loved to do when you were human". "ok" I said. So I thought about all the things I love. Reading, biking, swimming, going to camp. And I kept listing things in my head until Phoenix started to yell "hey! Hey! It's working!" I opened my eyes. I was bigger. And not hairy. I wasn't a cat! "how did that happen?" "well" Phoenix said, "you appear to have a shapeshifting power." "well, how do I control it?" I asked. "She answered: if I'm correct, you can only turn into cats. But you should have-" at that moment I interrupted her by doing amazing martial arts moves. "ninja powers". "cool!" I said.
Chapter 5
"so" I said. "how do we get out?" "well, since you are a human, you could just unlock the latch on the door over there and walk out." "you mean it's not locked?" I asked.
"well, yes" "ok" so I walked,er,crawled (remember I'm much bigger now.) over to the latch on the door and unhooked it. "well that was easy" I said. And we walked out of the metal box. "not so fast!" it was the guy I asked about the cats! Except now he was a giant, snarling, dog. "where do you think you are going?" he asked me. "we were just leaving" Phoenix answered. "oh no you're not!" the dog snarled. I quickly turned into cat form and asked Phoenix, "what should I call myself?" "I don't know!" she yelled. "just call yourself Ninja Cat for now it doesn't matter just fight him!"
Chapter 6 (well it's not really a chapter.)
Ninja Cat later became NinjaKat and the shelter guy and his workers (who we meet in the next book: NinjaKat's beginning part one of two) were named by Phoenix and I "demon dogs". Of course they are not demons but they're Hella evil.
Well, that's it. Origin Of NinjaKat completed. (NinjaKat is also my standard online gamer name.)
Like it? I might write more. You can give me ideas. Well, that's all. Thank you, and happy Caturday.
